Paul Plett

Head Brewer

It only took Paul 10 years of working as a web developer in northern NJ and NY to realize he was a brewer, making the jump from homebrew to production brewing as a cellarman at New Jersey Beer Co. before moving to Southern Illinois to become the brewer for St. Nicholas Brewing Co.  After deciding to move to Portland, Paul received his masters in applied fermentation sciences from McMenamins Edgefield with an emphasis on interdepartmental cooperation before accepting the position to lead the team at Laurelwood.
